Chiara Chie

Vice President of Communication

Hello NCCA HOSA! My name is Chiara Chie and I cant wait to be a part of NCCA HOSA’s 2020-2021 officer team! It is not only my pleasure, but a complete honor to be accepted into such a position only as a sophomore, and I am eager to see the challenges our chapter will overcome through this unprecedented time. As I see it, Being an officer this year means more than just “showing up”. This year to be an officer you must find a path even when all the roads are closed and that is my mission in assuming the position of VP of Communication; to find a way for our members even if the world says it’s impossible.

Outside of HOSA My base school is Newton Highschool and I am currently a part of NCCA’s STEM program in the biotechnology pathway. I am also a part of my base school’s tennis team, and at NCCA I am in sewing, and crochet club. Through reading this, I hope you’ve learned a little bit more about me, and again I can’t wait to be on your HOSA officer team this year. Let’s make it great!

This is her second year in HOSA and her first year as a chapter officer! Not only has HOSA allowed her to grow substantially as a person, but it has her love of hands-on experiences, and compassionate leadership. Her goals for her chapter this year are to create a welcoming environment for all members while also giving them a more personalized experience.

Giah Thomas

Giah Thomas is very excited to serve as your 2020-2021 NCCA HOSA Vice President of Admin! Giah is currently a junior at Alcovy High School and Newton College and Career Academy. Giah is an active member of many organizations such as Building Successful Woman(BSW), National Honor Society, and of course HOSA! Her passion for HOSA began during her freshman year by her fellow members and advisors to be involved in the organization. Since then, she has served as NCCA HOSA’s 9th and 10th grade ambassador for the 2019-2020 school year and she plans to continue an active office throughout her years at the career academy. HOSA has provided her improved leadership skills, new experiences, and over a healthcare family! Her future goal is to become a pediatric psychiatrist and aid the children in need in her community. Giah is always eager to help HOSA grow as an organization, community, and family.
